Are you stumped on what to buy this holiday season? Spitzer Tech’s team is here to help with a list of all our favorite gadgets to give (and receive!) this December.

David’s mind is on emergency preparedness, which is no wonder after last winter’s ice storm took out power for thousands of businesses and homes across the Pacific Northwest. He recommends EcoFlow’s Delta 2 Portable Power Station, capable of storing enough electricity to power your phone and laptop fifty times or more, and have your home appliances running for hours. With a new baby at home, keeping the washing machine moving is a must!

Both Sorren and Warren immediately thought, “headphones!”.  What’s better than giving your loved one the gift of their own favorite tunes?

Warren suggested the Samsung Buds Pro 2. He says they are comfortable to wear, sound great, and come with a carrying case that is easy to take on the go.

Sorren loves her Shokz OpenRun Bone Conduction headphones. As a mom of two, she’s a woman who appreciates the chance for solo nature hike. With Shokz, she is able to listen to her audiobook without completely blocking out her surroundings.

Nic, on the other hand, wants to share his playlist with the party.  He recommends the JBL Clip 5 portable speaker. This compact unit packs a significant punch sound-wise, and is even waterproof. He says he brings it with him to the beach, which is how you know he’s our only fully remote employee.

Martin was the office overachiever (naturally) and made two suggestions.

First, he raved about his Elgato Steam Deck Pedal. Place this bit of tech under your desk and your feet can help when your hands are busy. Fully customizable, Martin chooses to use his to answer and end calls, as well as playing and pausing his music. He says it’s one of the most used items in his office and he simply couldn’t live without it.

He’s also a big fan of these 6-in-1 charging cables from Rolling Square. When literally everything needs its own cable these days, this handy device pares it all down. Boasting two input ports and three output ports, this is the perfect gift for someone who values always having the right tool on hand (like Martin does).

Olivia is a lifelong reader but she says she is a recent ereader convert. Her Kobo Clara BW allows her to read one handed, in any level of light, for hours and hours on end. She prefers Kobo over the ubiquitous Kindle products due to the seamless Libby app integration. (Why buy ebooks when you can borrow them from your local library?)

Mikel is a simple guy with simple tastes, and all he wants for Christmas is hot water at the exact right temperature. And if he doesn’t have to walk to the kitchen to make it happen, even better. The Govee Electric Kettle Lite comes with four temperature presets, varying by what type of drink you’re planning. The big win of this gadget is its smart app integration, allowing you to remotely start it boiling, ask the kettle to keep your water warm, or schedule your next cup of tea. Can you imagine? Hot water ready right when you wake up? The dream!

What’s on your wish list this year?
