Are you stumped on what to buy this holiday season? SpitzerTech’s team is here to help with a list of all our favorite gadgets to give (and receive!) this December.
So if you read last year’s post, you know that Olivia was just beginning to delve into the ereader lifestyle. This year she is all in and she wants to do even LESS work while enjoying her favorite books, so she’s asking for the new Kobo page turning remote. You may laugh at her now, but when she’s under a warm blanket and doesn’t have to pop her hand out to turn the page, she will be laughing at you.
Warren is on the Kobo train too. (Did you know Kobo is an anagram of book?) He’s been following the evolution of e-ink technology for a while now, and he is very impressed with the leaps being made on the full color frontier. He has his eye on the Kobo Clara Color, as a budget-friendly alternative to Amazon’s Kindle Colorsoft. With no ads, less bloated software, a simpler interface, and seamless library ebook integration, Kobo’s models get Warren’s vote.
And while we are big fans of avoiding Amazon when possible, Mikel’s choice is actually on sale there this week. We are not the folks to hide a deal from you! Mikel suggests an Anker charging station because of its versatility and the capability to add timers to each individual outlet and connected device. Very futuristic! You can find it for $40 off on Amazon, at the time of publishing.
Mikel may be living in the future, but Martin is embracing the past. For those of you who still have CD collections, Cool Geek’s M1 CD Player will let you listen to them on your 2025 bluetooth speakers. With a slim design and a visible motherboard, this gadget is certainly a conversation piece. Have your friends over, load up your favorite CD from 1998 and everyone can experience that ulta-specific 20th century *click*.

Nic’s choice this holiday season is about the workday. He may be the youngest engineer on our team but he’s serious about ergonomics, especially when it comes to repetitive movements. (The wisom of youth!) He suggests Logitech’s MX Master 4 Wireless Mouse, especially if you spend much of your day at the computer.
Sorren’s mind is also on her workday. As our resident repair tech, her tools are of utmost importance. She owns this Fanttick Electric Screwdriver in burgundy red, and just seeing that hue gives her the grins. She says she uses this tool every day and appreciates how quickly she can switch out the 50 different steel bits. With everything so handily stored together, she never loses any pieces!
Last but not least, David wants folks to consider Unifi’s Network Video Camera Kit. The price tag is the highest on our list, but when you consider that you’re getting four high-quality, moveable, weather-resistant security cameras and all the gear you need to get them working out of the box, it’s a great deal!
What are you asking for this year? What will you be gifting? Tell us in the comments!
